EPW - James Stoddard, 13 Red Lion Street, St. John's Square, London, lever fusee, 54mm, 14K gold (tested) original HGB&Co consular HC with very attractive engraving detail including a log cabin scene to front, white enamel SS dial, KWKS, fully capped lever escapement, diamond endstone, 19J, gilt mvt with engraved foliate scrolled balance cock, gilt locking dust-cap, s#47793 with matching serial number within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 84.1 dwt (130.8 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, darkened gilt tone with some scattered spots and fine scratches, deeper scratch between third wheel jewel and plate's edge, oxide to steelwork; dial has scattered hls; excellent hands; case shows very light wear, no dents or dings, attractive engraving detail with mild reduction; bow pivots freely; good glass crystal.
